Due to power reasons, the steppers and heaters are NOT battery backed. Again, we have the front end sending gcode line by line to the motion controller. The problem is when power is cut, the 8 bit micro memory is lost. You must have this because an 8 bit controller cycle loop needs to plan ahead motion. The best way is to slice a test file stl with Ideamaker, and then open that resulting gcode and copy the start and end sections- rather than looking at the edit profile and copy and pasting from there. That's why you may not have known about it. Now, the thing is, in Ideamaker, the M1001 and M1002 are added to the start.gcode but not shown in the edit profile. resume-prĬorrect, best recommendation I can give is just use the start.gcode and end.gcode in your alternate slicer.
